On emotional resilience, AI fears, true faith, and hope for the future.

I couldn’t resist, but my week has been so full of thoughts and discoveries that I have to share them.

You’re not overwhelmed because you got too many problems. You’re overwhelmed because you’re trying to solve them all at once.

@guiperdrix

I need to remind myself of that whenever I get stressed or whenever I get frustrated, tt’s usually because I’m trying to solve one problem, get distracted by another problem, and then get overwhelmed because I have too many problems I want to solve at the same time.

If you’re very clear about which problem you’re solving and you just focus on one, you’re not overwhelmed at all.

“Our fear of the future is directly proportional to how small our ambitions are.” - best turnaround read on AI

@guiperdrix

If you are scared about the future of AI, you need to read this 2-page essay. Here is my extract:

“I was recently with a university endowment’s head of private investing who told me their engineers were terrified for their jobs after seeing what Claude Code could do. (…) Instead of worrying about doing the same thing we’ve been doing for cheaper, why not focus on doing the thing we never even dreamed of doing? (…) Here is what I think is actually going on with the fear: our fear of the future is directly proportional to how small our ambitions are. If your plan is to keep doing exactly what you’re doing, then yes, a machine that can do it faster and cheaper is terrifying. But if your plan is to do something dramatically bigger, then the machine is the best news you’ve ever gotten.”

It’s funny how it used to be its 1% idea, 99% execution. Now we’re entering a new era - the era of ideas, only.

@guiperdrix

In conversation with a friend, especially around vibe coding - and now the Agent Era - execution will not be the problem anymore. It’s going to become all about ideas - and committing to making them happen.

True faith is not “this will work.” True faith is “even if this doesn’t work, I will still be okay.”

@guiperdrix

And this is just another reminder that deep down, true faith is actually trusting yourself to make the right decision - and that you’ll be able to handle its consequences.

Also, I’m super excited about this Saturday, where I’m going to showcase how I’m using agents to run lots of many parts of my workflow.

We’re currently at 86 out of 100 spots reserved, so if you want to join hopefully the most mind-blowing 30 minutes of this month, you can sign up right here:

Wishing you a great rest of the week,
